Approved Textiles

As our society moves towards a more sustainable future, recycling has emerged as a vital practice to conserve resources and reduce the environmental impact of various industries. One area where recycling is gaining momentum is the textile industry. Approved clothing textiles for recycling refer to specific materials and garments that meet certain criteria, allowing them to be transformed into new products through recycling processes. These approved textiles not only contribute to waste reduction but also play a crucial role in minimizing the fashion industry's carbon footprint and conserving valuable natural resources.

Not Approved Textile Recycled Items for Full Circle Textile Recycling
Items we are not able to recycle at this time include non clothing textile materials such as...
Electronics and E-waste: Electronic devices, such as smartphones, computers, printers, televisions, and other electronic appliances, cannot be picked up with regular textile recycling as they require specialized electronic recycling facilities.
Furniture: Large furniture items like sofas, chairs, mattresses, and other household furnishings are not suitable for regular textile recycling pickups due to their size and complexity. However, others may offer bulk furniture pickup services.
Carpets and Rugs: While textile recycling may include small rugs or carpet scraps, large carpets or full-sized rugs are generally not suitable for regular pickup due to their size and composition. Carpet recycling programs may be available in specific regions.
